The event is a “A Special Q & A with Danielle Truitt” on December 9, 2024 from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM at The New Booker Theater.

Danielle Truitt is an American actress known for her roles in the TV series Rebel and Deputy on the show Crime Drama Law & Order: Organized Crime.

Truitt was born and raised in Sacramento, California and studied theater and dance at Sacramento State, graduating in 2004.

In addition to her acting work, Truitt is a two-time NAACP Theatre Award nominee and received a NAACP Theatre Award nomination for The Mountaintop.

The event is being co-hosted by The Creative Empowerment Program and Booker High School/Sarasota County to bring Truitt’s one-woman show “3: Black Girl Blues” to The New Booker Theater.
